Smart Process Design is a public benefit corporation focused on eliminating the environmental impact of PCB Fab operations on a worldwide basis, as well as re-shoring advanced manufacturing to the USA and its trusted allies. We also support projects focused on the development and introduction of technologies to support the transition to circular diseconomies of scale for the worldwide PCB Fab, and related industries.
We are an engineering service firm that also works via highly reputable and experienced partners worldwide to deliver unique equipment solutions. As a not-for-profit public benefit corporation, we measure success via Fab environmental impact reduction and reshoring success, rather than shareholder enrichment.
Smart Process Design was Founded by Alex Stepinski, the patented inventor of Zero Liquid Discharge recycling systems for the PCB Fab industry, and the pioneer of advanced PCB Fab re-shoring in the US market. Alex has the experience of having managed over $500M of PCB Fab investments over the past 10 years, with a portfolio of international clients; including Fortune 500 OEM's, Small Job Shops, and Government Entities. After 25 years of working for individual companies to maximize profits, Alex founded Smart Process Design as a public benefit corporation to support the growth and sustainability of the entire Fab ecosystem.
Smart Process Design maintains offices/entities in the USA, Poland, and Singapore; and is currently adding staff across all regions to support our core missions.
